We are launching a music driven platform designed to show a different perspective that tells stories, sparks discovery, and celebrates individuals shaping the culture.
From underground scenes to global hits, from artist spotlights to deep-dive features. And we’re looking for individuals who live and breathe music to help us shape the narrative.
This is a freelance, project-based opportunity, not a full-time or part-time employee role. You will be contracted specifically for projects, with clear deliverables and agreed-upon timelines.
Payment will be made based on a fixed project fee, rather than as a salaried or hourly employee arrangement.
We’re looking for writers with a strong point of view, cultural awareness, and sharp storytelling skills. You might be a:
- Music journalist or blogger
- Artist or fan deeply embedded in a genre or scene
- Culture critic with a pulse on trends and movements
- Playlist curator with words to match your taste
We’re especially interested in unique perspectives from underrepresented voices and global sounds. Topics You Might Cover:
- Artist interviews & profiles
- Scene reports or genre breakdowns
- Opinion & editorial pieces (e.g. “Why [Artist] Changed the Game”)
- Album/track reviews & reactions
- Music + culture crossovers (fashion, politics, tech, etc.)
- Curated playlists with commentary
Requirements
- Strong writing and editorial skills
- Passion for music (mainstream, underground, or niche)
- Ability to pitch ideas and work independently
- Familiarity with music culture (TikTok trends, Bandcamp drops, industry shifts, etc.)
